How Planning Increases Your Quality of Life

How Planning Increases Your Quality of Life

Mindset: My Time is Valuable ❤️

When I think about all the years I spent with poor time management skills, I am reminded of the major anxiety that came along with it.

Nowadays, with proper planning, I spend the majority of my time on the things that I value the most. As a stay-at- home mom, who runs a small business, most of my time goes towards my household. I've intentionally created a home environment where things tend to flow pretty well. Kids and family life, as we know, can be unpredictable. My secret is to control what I can and let go of the rest.

THE WHY BEHIND MY PLANNING:

Much research has shown that when you aren't aimlessly rushing though your days, not only does the the quality of your work increase but the quality of your life increases as well.

4 WAYS PLANNING POSITIVELY EFFECTS YOUR LIFE :

1.) Time management increases productivity.

2.) Mood Booster

3.) Stress Levels Decrease

4.) Confidence Booster ( the result of checking things off of my to-do list 😊)

 When I began to implement proper planning into my lifestyle and combined it with my prayer life, just wow. The increased productivity was amazing.

There are many scriptures about planning and many scriptures about resting, but resting in a sense of having peace. One of my favorite scriptures is Psalm 127:2. It is a great reminder that yes, we can make our plans but unless we hand our plans over to God and align them with Him, the fruit could be useless.

Psalm 127:2 : "Unless the Lord builds a house, the work of the builders is wasted.
Unless the Lord protects a city, guarding it with sentries will do no good.
It is useless for you to work so hard, from early morning until late at night,
anxiously working for food to eat; for God gives rest to his loved ones."

I wholeheartedly believe in hard work and dedication, but I also believe that toiling can be prevented with inviting God to be the head of our lives & aligning our plans with His through scripture, prayer & proper planning. This is why I created the Faith Based Planner. It is where the prayers and the daily agenda meet.

My hope is that you give planning -- involving God-- a whirl and watch the quality of your life increase.

{ Extra scripture on rest :Isaiah 26:3, Exodus 23:12, Exodus 33:14, Psalm 4:8, Psalm 127:2}

{A few scriptures on plans: Proverbs 16:3, Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 20:4, Proverbs 15:22, Proverbs 19:21, Psalm 142:8}
